Amazon Case Evidence Index: Free Vendor & Seller Template

Make the next case response easier to check. Use this one-page structure to connect a specific unresolved question with the record that supports it.

Published October 21, 2026 · Vendor Recovery Intelligence

Start with one unresolved question.

Write the outcome Amazon stated, then the single point that its reply leaves unanswered. For example: “The reply confirms receipt research, but does not explain the disposition of the remaining units.” An index helps organize evidence; it does not establish eligibility or prove money is owed.

Vendor Central example: pickup and receiving are different events.

Fictional example: a carrier-signed pickup record supports custody transfer of the listed shipment. It does not by itself establish the final fulfillment-center receipt quantity. The next request should connect pickup, transportation and receiving findings for the unreconciled units. Keep the related PO, invoice and deduction chain together in your private index.

Seller Central example: approval and payment are different events.

Fictional example: a reimbursement approval message supports the decision Amazon reported. To verify the benefit, match its reference to the Payments or settlement entry, amount, date and any later reversal or offset. Do not label the case recovered because the approval email exists.

Check the index before replying.

  1. Confirm Vendor Central or Seller Central and the marketplace.
  2. Quote the actual decision accurately, including a partial approval.
  3. Reference only records you actually have; remove claims of attachments unless attached.
  4. State the exact contradiction or missing link.
  5. Check the current permitted route and deadline in the account.
